6 Things I Learned In 2016

Celebrate the small victories with champagne

Pop the bottle and toast to all your successes, no matter how small they may seems. You made it to work on time everyday this week, cheers! Y0u’re having a good hair day, cheers to that, too! Life is worth celebrating and everything is better with champagne.

Good friends are worth their weight in gold

Find the people you can call at 4am crying, the ones that can meet you for an afternoon beer, and most importantly, the ones  that will tell you the truth even when it is hard to hear.

Karma is real

Sometimes things don’t go your way. So you can choose to blame your circumstances on fate, or karma, or bad luck, or bad choices; or you can choose to fight back. And sometimes, things do go your way, and when they do, celebrate, and give the world everything you want it to give back to you.

The reward is almost always worth the risk

Chase whatever it is that excites you. At the end of the day, you will most likely regret all of the thing you didn’t do, rather than all of the thing you did do. So take the risk, because the reward is almost always worth it.

Be your own biggest cheerleader

If you are not going to cheer yourself on, who else is? Sometimes, you just have to get out the pom-poms and remember that you are doing the best you can, with what you have, where you are, and that is something worth cheering for.

The best is yet to come

We all have greatness inside of us and on any given day, an underdog can rise up.

Cheers to 2016 friends, roll on 2017!
